CGP&H Grant Alert

Deadlines for three federal grants and one state grant are fast approaching. CGP&H has a very successful track record in securing funding from these highly competitive grant programs. And we encourage our clients to take advantage of significant funding resources worth millions of dollars.

Grants include:
Fire Prevention and Safety Grant, U.S. Department of Homeland Security—Funding encourages activities that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters with respect to fire and fire related injuries. Grant award: between $11,000 and $273,000. Deadline: November 30.

Gang Resistance Education and Training Program (GREAT), Department of Justice—Enables local law enforcement agencies to provide gang prevention services to high risk youth. Grant award: $150,000. Deadline: December 13.

National Recreational Trails Program (RTP), Department of Environmental Protection—Allows counties and municipalities to facilitate the development and/or rehabilitation of recreational trails. Grant award: $25,000. Deadline: December 15.

Brownfield Economic Development Initiative (BEDI), Department of Housing and Urban Development—Assists local governments to redevelop Brownfields. CGP has a very successful track record of securing funds. Grant award: capped at $2 million. Deadline: December 24.
